Supporting Children from Ukraine

Camp BrightSide

A Project Created with Purpose

Camp BrightSide is a humanitarian initiative created in response to the war in Ukraine. Since the beginning of the conflict, we have been organizing trips, educational activities and camps for displaced orphan children, mainly from the Odessa region.

What started as a small initiative has grown into a large-scale, ongoing project that has already supported hundreds of children through dozens of organized trips and activities across Poland.

What We Do

Our activities go far beyond traditional camps. Throughout the year we organize:

educational trips (e.g. Warsaw, cultural landmarks, science centers)
workshops and mentoring sessions
outdoor activities and sports events
integration programs and social experiences
visits to museums, historical sites and attractions
Each trip includes full organization: transport, meals, tickets and guidance.

Real Impact

In last years alone, we:

organized multiple trips across Poland
worked with large groups of children (including trips for up to 100 participants)
delivered educational programs, workshops and mentorship
cooperated with international partners and volunteers
created safe spaces for children to learn, play and rebuild a sense of normal life
This is not a one-time project – it is a long-term mission.

Summer & Winter Camps

Today, Camp BrightSide focuses on organizing Summer Camps and Winter Camps, combining travel, activities and emotional support. Each camp is designed to give children:

a break from difficult reality
a chance to feel safe
positive experiences and memories
and a reminder that they are not alone
As we often say:
“We help, we live.”

Why This Matters?

For many of these children, this is more than just a trip.
It is:

a moment of peace
a chance to feel safe
an opportunity to smile again
and a reminder that they are not alone
As we often say:
“We help, we live.”
